A sobering thought today: Tom Cruise’s first Mission Impossible film and John Frankenheimer’s Ronin are now the sort of espionage thrillers my teenage son looks at the way I looked at the Cold War spy movies of the 1960s when I was his age.

Time to watch the (second) series finale of #StrikeBack.
Unbidden, and with no input from me, my middle child asked if he and his younger brother could watch “the last #StarWars movie” (Rise of Skywalker), and now this #GeekDad is on the couch a little verklempt.
I was excited to learn last week about this documentary of @bloodgoodband, one of my favorite Christian metal bands from when I was a teenager/early 20-something, and it arrived today. Well done, Paul Michael Bloodgood, on capturing your father’s and his friends’ work!
