Definitely my favorite of @michaelhsweet’s solo albums.

Welp, now to see how much of this I can put together as a playlist.

Lots of singers and bands have recorded this traditional American folk song over the years, most notably of late Johnny Cash. This is the heaviest version I’ve heard yet, and I really dig it.

Thanks to Rev. Paul Ahnert for bringing this band to my attention!

Whomever programmed the music at this Fuzzy’s must have ridden around in my car with me in high school and college.

“Wanted Dead or Alive” – Bon Jovi
“Where the Streets Have No Name” – U2
“Armageddon It” – Def Leppard
“Keep Your Hands to Yourself” – The Georgia Satellites

Rick-rolling got Rick to a billion views and more!

Volcanic Lightning is the name of my next metal band.

What an incredible time last night at @TheDollyrots show. Huge shout out to Kelly, Luis, & @RikkiStyxx for making it an unforgettable night for my “niece” Tori. Rikki’s dad adopted Tori for the night, took her “backstage,” such as it is at Three Links, and she got to talk to all three in the band.

The show was joyous fun on top of all that.

Thanks to the Internet, I’ve updated Stryper’s The Yellow and Black Attack and To Hell With the Devil albums with their original artwork in my iTunes library. Not sure why I waited so long.

Hey, worship leaders! You want to wake up your flocks Sunday morning?

Drop the sad pappy music and play this:

Nine years after I purchased my first noise-canceling headphones, a pair of refurbished Bose QuietComfort 15s, I’ve stepped up to wireless ANCs with these Sennheiser PXC-550-II cans.

First tracks played: Stryper’s “To Hell With the Devil” and Whitecross’ “Who Will You Follow.”
